Pete Compton Memorial

Pete Compton was a highly motivated and enthusiastic member of the 1987 West Coast Championship Crew. From the background and training he received at OCC, he went on to earn a degree in Athletic Training and help others, through a career in training.

This award is the result of contributions from his family and friends. It is dedicated to a deserving oarsman who, like him, transfers to a four-year college or university.

It’s the hope of the many of us who loved Pete that his wonderful perspective on life will continue on by inspiring the recipient of this award.
