John Coates Memorial ESL Scholarship

For the adult ESL student, acquiring the academic language proficiency necessary for success in college-level work is an arduous task requiring self-discipline and conscientious study. The ESL Scholarship is given to a student who, in the estimation of his or her ESL teachers, exemplifies extraordinary success in language learning as well as efforts to reach out to others of various nationalities and backgrounds.
