Huntington Beach Host Lions Club Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a Huntington Beach resident on the basis of academic achievement and community involvement. The Huntington Beach Host Lions Club is a group of men and women dedicated to helping others. They support groups such as the Blind Children’s Learning Center, boys and girls clubs, vision and hearing screenings, among others. Funds are raised through such activities as pancake breakfasts, concession booths at the July 4th parade, rummage sales, and the annual Crab Fest. One hundred per cent of these funds go back to the community.
