Film/Video Social Issues Scholarship

Filmmakers can change the world! Their art form has the power to document, inform, educate, and inspire. The recipient of this scholarship exemplifies a dedication to positive social change by exploring a societal issue through filmmaking. The student will complete a special project, working closely with a faculty member in the Film/Video Department. The project will be based on a social issue examined during this collaborative learning experience, and it will culminate with the final project being submitted for consideration to the OCC Student Film & Video Festival and/or OCC Shorts at the Newport Beach Film Festival.
