Culinology Scholarship formerly (Southern California Institute of Food Science Scholarship)

SCIFTs is the Southern California Section of the Institute of Food Science a national organization representing individuals working in the food manufacturing industry. The Phil Bates Scholarship is awarded annually to students in nutrition, food science and Culinology at local Community Colleges and Universities. SCIFTs has set aside money for students of Orange Coast College, recognizing the importance of Community College Education and to encourage students at OCC to transfer
in the areas of Nutrition, Food Science or Culinology.
