Carl Echelberry Memorial

This memorial scholarship is established by Earl Echelberry to honor the memory of his father, Carl Echelberry. Although Carl Echelberry was only able to attend school through the third grade, he held that “education and the pursuit of knowledge are the key to a successful and happy life.”

With this in mind, this scholarship is award to a student that plans to continue their education and pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in any of the Engineering, Technology, or Computer related fields being offered at a four year college or university.

While attending Orange Coast College, the recipient must have demonstrated their academic excellence by maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher, while majoring in one of the technology or engineering programs being offered here at Orange Coast College
